OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTATIONS

• To introduce a diverse instruction of art making to students, while encompassing a variety of processes and creative problem solving.
• Develop and become efficient in the use of both darkroom and digital photography applications. 
  
• Build and complete student portfolios for acceptance to high school art magnet programs. (New World, DASH, Coral Reef, etc.)
  
• To work closely with students to further their artistic endeavors. 
• To instill artistic confidence.
  
• Participation in county and national exhibitions and end of the year exhibition.
  
• Encourage and welcome parental involvement.
• Demonstrate and teach students to speak and write about their art work.
